About the event
Did you know that animals with microchips are several times more likely to be found and returned to their pet parents? For dogs who are microchipped, the official numbers are about 50% versus only 22% for those without chips. For cats, that number is even more spectacular! Cats who are chipped are more likely to make it home with estimates of about 38% verus a meager 2% for unchipped pets. Crazy!
So, join us on September 12, 2026 at the Barry County Enrichment Center in downtown Hastings, Michigan and get a free rabies vaccination and microchip for your pet(s). Because every pet deserves a home and every pet parent deserves a better chance at reuniting with an escaped pet family member.
We will also have a limited number of FVRCP for cats and DHLPP for dogs. This free clinic also includes an initial exam and a dental assessment.
