Donations Keep Us Running

Did you know that we receive, on average, 8 to 10 contacts a day during kitten season to come out and catch or relocate kittens? We also have people stop in every day we're open to ask for help feeding their cats, dogs, and other pets? Our TNR Team (Tim, Liza, and others!) work tirelessly, sometimes spending 12 or more hours in the field, working with local people on trap-and-release for feral colonies, kitten rescues, and friendly cat re-homing and rehabilitation? It truly takes an army, but we need you too!

Every single kitten that comes in costs us about $200, so for that litter that you found. under your porch and don't want to deal with or that stray that you found in the road and just can't keep? $200. Each. That provides medical care, a foster or volunteer to house, feed, and provide litter. A spay or neuter when the time is right. Countless hours of socialization. And, when the time is right, hopefully an adoption to a forever home.

How can you help?

  • A $2 donation feeds a kitten for a week.

  • A $5 donation provides a microchip for a cat or kitten.

  • A $9 donation "Saves 9 Lives" and lets us begin fostering a new set of cats and/or kittens.

  • A $20 donation provides essential antibiotics and medicine for one kitty.

  • A $50 donation pays for one cat neuter appointment.

  • A $75 donation pays for one cat spay appointment.

We had a $12,000 donation this year that was earmarked for our community Spay and Neuter program. It's a program where we provide a $40 voucher for a local vet to have one of your pets spayed or neutered and cover the rest of the costs ourselves. This year we provided approximately 120 vouchers to community members. That money is gone and we've got half a year left to figure out how to cover.

Can't donate your money? That's okay, we also need people to donate their time and their talents. Are you crafty? We would love to offer some hand-made products on our website to sell as a fundraiser. Do you have a few spare hours on a Monday, Thursday, Saturday, or any other day? Our TNR crew would love to take you with and show you the ropes and get you involved. Are you interested in helping with graphic design, website management, database support or some other version of technology? We definitely can utilize your talents!

We cannot do this alone. We need you. We need community support to serve the community. If you see one of our many donation boxes scattered throughout supporting stores in our county, drop your spare change in. Every penny helps! If you're financially able to give us a website donation once in a while, please consider us! Every single penny goes directly to the animals.

Thank you!
